Imitating other creatures, both physically and personality-wise, these creatures lead a life on the edge, a place where some of them change who they are so much that it’s quite easy to forget their own origin, and sometimes even their current role.

Whether it is actually true or not, many people claim that these creatures are known to stalk their victims, and follow them around to learn how they move, behave, and talk, until eventually they strike and take their place without anyone realizing it.

A mere thought that someone you know is not who you think can send shivers down the spine, and great tales have been born that certainly put some of their names out there for everyone to know, names such as Shape, Akin, Maestro, Husk, and Art.

Shapeshifters are magical creatures whose main strength is the ability to transform into another person, where becoming a different race altogether often poses no problems at all. This innate talent makes them perfect spies, thieves, and assassins, and they are often indirectly hired by nobility and even kings and queens themselves.

Think about how the character came to be, how might they look originally, when did they discover they can change forms, what are their plans for now and the future, and create a name worthy of the terrifying mystery that surrounds them wherever they might be.
